As the daughter of a 30-year-plus career firefighter in the Pacific Northwest, she saw the need for more mental health services for first responders and their families due to the unique concerns faced by these populations. Dr Green went to graduate school to specialize in working with this population and from there she looked to be part of an organization that would align with the important mission of making mental health more accessible and less stigmatized for public safety employees, leading her to choose to work with NFA to provide her therapy services.
Dr. Green loves building a therapeutic relationship with her clientele and watching them meet their goals and find successes throughout their time together. She finds passion for this career in watching her clients develop a new appreciation for themselves and the strength that they have inside of them.
