She has been with NFA for 9 years, beginning as an extern and now as a full-time therapist.
Ms. Atwood understands the first responder culture and works with them in her specialties such as trauma recovery, stress reduction, work/life balance, relationship navigation etc. She enjoys individual therapy for first responders and spouses as well as the general needs of youth 12+. Ms. Atwood especially has a passion for spouses of first responders and working with them toward their individual growth and vitality as they hold their space of being the strong other half.
When Ms. Atwood is not helping those who serve and protect, she likes to workout, hike, travel and spend time with her partner/family.
