With over 20 years of experience as a seasoned first responder herself, Ms. Zavala has a unique perspective that allows her to deeply understand the challenges and demands faced by individuals in high-stress professions such as law enforcement, firefighting, and emergency medical services.
She is dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being among first responders and their families. Ms. Zavala is an instructor at the National Fire Academy and is certified Youth Firesetting Intervention Specialist.
Her personal connection to the first responder community, as both she and her husband are firefighters and her dad is a Marine and police officer, fuels her passion for helping others in these high-stress occupations.
Outside of her work, Ms. Zavala enjoys running, working out, and snowboarding.
